As your Chatsworth Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce President for the second year, I am so proud of the great improvements we, the Chamber Members and Staff & Board of Directors, have made in 2010  -  and even more excited about our plans for 2011!  We make all of these changes with the Chamber’s primary mission in mind:  To support Chamber members through leadership and advocacy by engaging in activities that enhance and strengthen the Chatsworth/Porter Ranch business community, by fostering its healthy growth.

In 2010 we took legacy Annual Events to the next level.  The State of the Community Breakfast featured presentations from both the Local & State level.  The Unforgettable Educator Recognition Event expanded from a General Luncheon Meeting to a grand and successful Dinner celebration of our educational community.  The second Annual Multi-Chamber Business Expo, a multi-Chamber effort, was bigger and better attended than before. 

In 2011, we plan to add more benefits and features to the Chamber website, providing members with greater conveniences by way of Paypal and on-line RSVP’s to events as well as ever more advertising opportunities.  Our monthly and annual events continue to evolve and improve, focused always on supporting the healthy growth of our community.  This year will also include a once-in-a-lifetime landmark date of September 13, 2011 (or “91311”, the Chatsworth zip code), featuring a Family Festival and community celebration. 

All of these efforts are designed to strengthen our members’ business visibility and stimulate the local economy, as well as enhance relationships between the businesses and organizations throughout our own area and neighboring communities.
