In 2008, Governor Schwarzenegger has signed 771 bills and vetoed 415 bills. There is one budget trailer bill* remaining on the Governor’s desk. The Governor has until Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at midnight to act on the remaining legislation.

*SBX1_28 by the Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review has to be chaptered last to ensure the tax amnesty provisions in AB 1452 by the Committee on Budget are chaptered out. To make sure SBX1_28 is chaptered last, it will be chaptered tomorrow.
