President's Message

Have you done business with another Chamber Member lately?

Our Chamber provides excellent resources to our members for networking and promoting your businesses. From our General Membership Luncheons, Newsletter Advertising, Mixers, Ribbon Cutting ceremonies for new members to our Social Events, there is something for everybody. I?ve been wondering how many of us are actually doing business with each other, how often, and how many referrals are generated by that business relationship? Personally, I frequent many of our members for services? from gifts, flowers, restaurants, legal counsel and others. Speaking on behalf of the Chamber, we strictly adhere to a code that we contract services with members only.

I strongly recommend you utilize our network of Chamber members. Our office has made this task easy for you. A wide range of businesses can be accessed through our web site at www.chatsworthchamber.com. Click on the tab ?Members Directory? and you will be directed to our membership that are sorted by business type. This is an excellent reference source and is available to anyone. Further, should you have a specific need you can always contact the Chamber office for personal assistance.

Being a member of a Chamber is a valuable step to promote and grow your business. It is also a valuable resource to develop a network of other business contacts and resources to meet your professional and personal needs. Taking action in this manner will continue to ensure you are getting the most for your membership dollar.

It is always better to do business with people you know, who know you, and together we can support our business community. I encourage you to leave behind a business card when frequenting a Chatsworth/Porter Ranch Chamber member business establishment so they know you were there and that their participation in the Chamber is making a difference for you?and them.
