Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Office of Economic Development invites you to attend a virtual celebration of LA Women’s Entrepreneurship Day 2020.
“In It Together”
Mayor Eric Garcetti and the Los Angeles City Council declared November 19 to be Women’s Entrepreneurship Day in Los Angeles. Women business owners have had a significant impact on the Los Angeles economy and quality of life despite significant obstacles. The goal of the LA WED Celebration is to inspire, empower, and catalyze diverse, yet like-minded individuals, agencies, and organizations to help women-owned businesses realize their full potential in Los Angeles and throughout the world. All are welcome to join in the celebration and partake in the resources available. It is a unique opportunity for current and aspiring entrepreneurs to create meaningful connections, get expert advice and information, and gather the support and resources necessary to set themselves up for success.
The LA WED Celebration will include remarks from successful and emerging local women entrepreneurs, breakout sessions with leading experts, a financial resource expo, and networking opportunities with other women entrepreneurs and organizations.

Is there a charge for this event?
No. However, registration is a must to ensure you are provided a link to the event because space is limited!
What platform will be used for the event?
The event will be held on Hopin. Hopin is a virtual venue with multiple interactive areas that are optimized for connecting and engaging. Attendees can move in and out of rooms just like an in-person event, network with one another, easily share contact information through a click of a button, and engage in a more interactive experience throughout the event.
