Chamber President’s Message

To Our Guest & Members,

Happy new year Chamber members.

I hope your holidays were filled with wonderful memories. I know that the current pandemic limited our family visits and kept us from doing some of our family traditions, but I am hoping the 2023 will bring us better times and more optimistic thoughts.

I see 2023 as a continued reset to many things. The reset of the chaos of the elections, the civil unrest and the Pandemic we now are dealing with. Many of us are doing what’s necessary to survive and keep our staffs gainfully employed. We need to support ourselves instead of looking elsewhere for help. It has become evident that we need to rely on ourselves. I hope with this new year we become kinder and understanding on what we have to do to make it though these tough times.

I look forward to working with the new board on more innovative ways to assist our business members and look for ways to bring more value to their membership. I’d like us (our Chamber) to be more visual to our community and have the community to look to us for leadership. Here’s to looking forward and let’s work on making 2023 something we look to as a clean slate.

Thank you to all past and current members, volunteers, Board of Directors, employees, executive directors and community leaders for helping to build our Chamber to the successful resource it is today.

Remember, the Chamber works for you, when you work with the Chamber.

Sincerely and proudly,

Nicolas Montaño

President
