BLOCKFEST RECAP

An estimated 8,000 individuals attended the first ever Blockfest, hosted by the Chatsworth / Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce, and held ON Devonshire St. last Saturday, April 9th. More than 100 vendors, a carnival, cocktail lounge, and LIVE professional wrestling highlighted the event. Live musical performances were provided by Brass Cadillac, Todd Stanford, and Chad & Pam!

The Chamber partnered with member company and local Chatsworth business We Can Be Heroes Comics to hold its inaugural We Con, a pop culture and comics convention that featured actors like Ryan Hurst of Sons of Anarchy and The Walking Dead fame. Top artistic talents included Ben Bishop (seen below) of The Last Ronin graphic novel series, B. Earl (Werewolf by Night), Denys Cowan (Static Shock & Co-Founder, Milestone Media) and many more who attended!

The Chamber once again thanks its major Sponsors, including

  • Accident Fighters
  • Galpin Motors
  • The Law Offices of R. Grace Rodriguez
  • Los Toros Mexican Restaurant
  • Rick Caruso for Mayor
  • TSUL Restaurant Equipment

Thank you to Phelps Public Affairs for producing Blockfest, and special thanks to the Block Fest Planning Committee and Chatsworth Kiwanis for their significant contributions to the success of this event!
